The Audi Henderson Lake Las Vegas Classic is a non-profit event that benefits local charities throughout Henderson and Las Vegas.
THE MISSION OF THE SNJGA IS TO TEACH CHILDREN OF ALL AGES, REGARDLESS OF SOCIOECONOMIC BACKGROUND, THE IMPORTANCE OF HONESTY, INTEGRITY, AND PERSEVERANCE THROUGH THE GAME OF GOLF.
Founded in 1977, the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association (SNJGA) is a non-profit organization that introduces Southern Nevada’s youth to the game of golf and helps junior golfers develop golf and life skills through the game of golf. Southern Nevada has a deep history when it comes to junior golf. Over the years, the area has produced dozens of golfers who went on to earn college golf scholarships and several who went on to play on the PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour. Other top junior golfers have gone on to successful careers and enjoy golf as a lifetime hobby.
Since the early 1970’s, the leadership and volunteers of the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association have been helping to positively shape the lives of Southern Nevada youngsters both on and off the course, no matter their economic or socio backgrounds. Thousands of kids have learned the game of golf and the life skills and character traits it instills. Our kids have flourished in all areas of life.
More importantly, many others have used their golf-based knowledge and experiences to thrive scholastically and make a meaningful difference in society through important careers in many sectors including education, philanthropy, the medical field, law enforcement and other pursuits. As with any endeavor, the story of one can captures the essence of the many.
